About this experience

Yule marks the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, and the turning of the Wheel toward the returning light. It is a season that reminds us that rest restores us, community sustains us, and we don't have to weather the darkness alone.

Join us for an evening of cozy connection, seasonal traditions, stories, songs, and a little Yule magic. We'll share potluck treats, explore winter folklore, create seasonal crafts focused on Manifestation, Abundance, and Protection, and gather together to welcome the returning light.

Our first magical working will be a time for sharing. Remember the good old-fashioned days of neighbors calling on neighbors just to visit, share a story, and enjoy one another’s company? In a world that moves so quickly, connection is what keeps us human. This Yule, let’s slow down and bring back a little of that magic.

Bring a short and sweet story, song, poem, tradition, or memory—happy, funny, bittersweet, or sad—that reflects what Yule or the winter season means to you. Time will be limited to approximately 3–5 minutes per person so everyone has an opportunity to share. This time we will have a jingle bell timer to keep it flowing. No pressure to speak at all; you’re just as welcome to sit back, listen, and enjoy the warmth of the circle. And of course, keep Pagan Pie in mind!

Our program will include a reading of the legend of the Wild Hunt, the folklore of the Julbock (Yule Goat), and a group singalong of the Pagan Yule song “Deck the Halls.” We’ll also provide a handout on the 12 Days of Yule for you to take home! Please choose a personal story, memory, poem, song, or tradition that isn’t one of these planned selections so we can enjoy a variety of seasonal stories and traditions.

Please Bring

·       A potluck contribution of finger foods to share (no cutlery needed!)

·       Something short to share, if you'd like

·       Your cozy, witchy, or festive self

·       Dress festive, witch and/or cozy (PJs welcome)

Come slow down, get cozy, share in community, and remember that sometimes the most magical thing we can do is simply be together. Our will be done, blessed be!

Space is limited — reserve your place in the circle.
