The Crystal Temple: Anniversary Week

About this experience

We are excited to reopen this experience in our Studio space, once a month. Take a break and have a seat before one of the big beauties that compose our 'Crystal Council'. Please know that this isn't our normal running of the Crystal Temple as we will have other activities set up in our Studio space all week and we expect to have a constant flow of people in and out of the room.

The Crystal Temple will be set up in our kitchen space from July 14-20 and we're happy to do a guided meditation upon request if we are able. We'll do our best to set the space up for optimal relaxation and this is a great opportunity to learn how to work with the stones in meditation!

Guided Meditation 

Sometimes it's just easier with guidance or maybe you've never tried meditation or maybe you feel like you're no good at it. Whatever your reasons, here's your opportunity to learn how to sit with the beautiful stones of our Crystal Temple. 

The Crystal Temple 

Our vow is to open the Temple doors at least once a month to small groups for the soul purpose of communing with these ancient and wise beings. We ask that you are respectful of the space and the crystals, come with an open mind and open heart, and let the experience be what it is for you without expectation.

For future planning: The Crystal Temple will be open every Third Wednesday from 11am – 2pm. We'd love to plan ahead so please select 'Book Now' so we know how many to anticipate. The Temple Experience is free, although donations are accepted (but not required) to help recover the costs.

 In the future, we hope to be able to sustain opening the Temple more often, and commit to working towards that goal. Let us know how we are doing and what would make the experience even better for you.

 The Crystal Temple used to be located across the street, we are now setting it up in our Studio Classroom space in the same parking lot as Rock Mama Gallery, facing Fruitridge, next to Tipps & Shakes.

The Crystal Temple has its roots in the Crystal Council Suzanne first consulted with, via her shamanic journeying practice, nearly 20 years ago. At that time, she went to them seeking permission and advice around selling her healing gemstone talismans, wanting to make sure she did so in alignment with her deep respect for the crystals as ancient, intelligent beings.

 The crystals were supportive of her working with them, but asked that she always present them as sacred, teach about their energies and properties, and help them on their journeys to heal, teach, protect, and comfort. That first meeting with the Council defined the direction Suzanne’s crystal journey took, and there were many check-ins along the way.

 When Suzanne and Toni first opened the doors to Rock Mama, they checked in once again, and received the crystals’ blessings and encouragement, as long as the shop continued to honor those initial agreements.

 In a more recent Council session, however, the Crystals asked for a larger reciprocal offering: the creation of a Crystal Temple. Their request was for a sacred space, a re-visioning of the ancient temples where crystals were honored as sacred and shared with the community. The vision was for a space where people could come and commune with a physical Council of Crystals, intentionally gathered together for the purpose of healing. The request was heard, the seed was planted, the vision took form, and the time has now come for the Rock Mamas to honor their pledge and open the doors to the Crystal Temple.

Anniversary Celebrations

What else is going on this week?

• Monday-Sunday our Studio space will be open 11am-5pm. Like last year, we'll have intentional bracelet building, Blessing Bottles, geode cracking and the Crystal Temple. Look for the new build your own Charmed Life Necklace set up in the store! Priced original paintings by Suzanne Michell will also be available for purchase in this space.
• Monday-Sunday 11a-5p: FREE - Crystal Temple: Meet the lovely large stone collection residing in the Studio. The Crystal Council is waiting for you. We’ll try to run our guided meditation if possible. Our regular Crystal Temple happens once a month on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 11am-2pm
• Monday 6p-8:30p: Tarot & Tea- FREE - beginners welcome! A chance to hang with community and learn a little.
• Tuesday 6:30pm-8:30pm: FREE New Moon Ritual Gathering – facilitated by Clare and Drew. Doors open at 6:00pm, come for guided meditation, and astrological forecast for the month and channeled messages by these two phenomenal Readers.
•  Friday 6:30pm arrival, 7:00pm door is locked for an hour: FREE Seated Sound bath with Soul Sound Sanctuary. Get a small taste of an awesome experience and then get signed up for the real deal!
• Saturday 6p-9p: FREE - 7th Anniversary Celebration hosted by the Rock Mamas Suzanne & Toni
• Sunday is the official Anniversary date and all sales and Studio activities will be open. Thank you for being a part of our Rock Mama Community!
