Join us in this immersive journey into the first chakra in the chakra energy system. The root chakra, or Muladhara in Sanskrit, is concerned with security, stability, ancestral roots, physical needs, red and more.

·       Enliven your senses and build a group altar, participate in an anointing ritual and mantra chanting.

·       Deepen your understanding of the root chakra and learn more about its themes and associations.

·       Learn about the root’s connection with the element of Earth and the importance of grounding.

·       Group Reiki energy healing, meditative journey and journaling inquiry.

·       Learn the imagery of the root chakra and paint a healing mandala stone to use in your healing.

·       Prepare a candle to take with you.

·       Other ideas for balancing and opening of your root chakra.

***If you participate in all 7 of the deep dive chakra series classes you will create a full chakra mandala set.

*** It should be noted that the chakra systems in India and Tibet do not follow the same rainbow color associations that we ascribe to them in modern new age practice. This class is a modern western interpretation rather than a classical one, although some classical elements may be included.

This class is appropriate for beginners and more advanced students alike. It is suggested to take the Intro to Chakras class first but is not required.

What to bring? Bring an item or 2 to place on the root chakra altar for class if you so desire. It could be a red item, a candle, an ancestral item, something to symbolize what you are wanting to heal, flowers, herbs, etc.
