Join us for a warm, soul-nourishing evening as we celebrate Yule through intentional crafting and the spirit of giving. In this immersive workshop, you’ll create three beautiful, meaningful gifts—whether for yourself or to share with someone you love. We’ll begin with Witches’ Ladders, crafted from jute and adorned with dried oranges to welcome back the sun, fragrant cinnamon sticks for warmth and protection, and a wood slice charm at the base. You’ll use wood-burning tools to inscribe a symbol, snowflake, or spirit animal—making each ladder a personal talisman of light and guidance. Next, we’ll hand-pour candles in rustic wooden bowls, blending wax with your custom selection of essential oils to create a warm, soothing fragrance. These make beautiful altar pieces or heartfelt handmade gifts. Finally, you’ll mix your own ritual bath salts from a generous apothecary of dried herbs, flowers, and botanicals. Add your personal touch with essential oils and intentional blends to create a relaxing, spiritually infused soak for the season. As we craft together, we’ll reflect on the themes of Yule—returning light, rest, renewal, and generosity. Every piece you make will carry the energy of this season, woven with purpose and care. Take home three handcrafted treasures, rich with spirit and intention, ready to gift or keep as part of your own celebration of the turning year.
Your Host

I’m a lifelong maker creator rooted in the homestead prairie traditions I was raised with— where canning, quilting, and seasonal living were everyday treasures. Over the years, I’ve been honored to earn state-level awards for my canning and baking, which have deepened my appreciation for homespun craft. Travel has taken me around the world, exposing me to countless cultures and winter rituals, which has enriched the way I honor my own Swedish Yule heritage. Recently, I’ve leaned into those traditions even more— blending ancestral customs, handmade crafts, global inspiration, and a touch of magic. I’m grateful to share this cozy, meaningful season and the spirit of Yule with others.
