The spiritual power of Frame Drumming can gently guide and nurture us in a rhythmic journey, leading us to sacred space. Â Connecting the conscious mind with our inner rhythms. Frame Drums have an ancient past as far back as 5,000 years and are still found and played globally to this day.
 In class you will learn:

·      Technique
·      Rhythms                                                  Â
·      Movement
·      Creating your own special rhythms and sacred spaceÂ
Drums will be provided for the class.
Your Host
My name is Tezrah and I have over 30 years as a multi-cultural Dancer, Choreographer, Musician, Drummer, and Performer.
My love for Egyptian Music and Rhythms opened a path to study Egyptian Drumming on the Doumbek and Def (Frame Drum).
I was fortunate enough to study with some amazing teachers; including years of study with Miranda Rondeau as well as workshops with Layne Redmond and Glen Velez. I was honored to learn and perform Southern Italian drumming with Alessandra Belloni. Additionally, I was a member of the women’s frame drumming group Lipishau, performing throughout Southern California for a number of years.
